Qualifications: Dental Assisting Certification required 1 year+ experience preferred Comprehensive understanding of dental instruments Exceptional customer service and strong communication skills Bilingual English/Spanish, beneficial but not required. Job description: Perform routine dental cleanings and assist with operative procedures Take digital x-rays Assist in maintaining dental records Prepare examination/operative rooms, sterilize all instruments according to OSHA guidelines. Teach patients appropriate oral hygiene strategies (e.g., tooth brushing, flossing and nutritional counseling) Help other areas of office when necessary (answering phones, scheduling appointments) Have fun and smile!
