We are seeking an experienced, highly organized Medical Practice Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations and administrative functions of the practice.This is a hands-on leadership position responsible for ensuring the practice operates efficiently while supporting providers and staff, maintaining strong financial and billing processes, and ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations.The Practice Manager works closely with the physician owners and is supported by a Clinical Manager, Billing Services, and bookkeeping/accounting resources. Experience with electronic health record (EHR) systems is preferred; familiarity with eClinicalWorks (eCW) is helpful but not required.ResponsibilitiesOversee daily practice operations and administrative functionsProvide leadership and support to administrative and clinical staff in coordination with the Clinical ManagerManage human resources, including recruitment, onboarding, employee benefits, personnel matters, performance management, and staff developmentOversee billing and revenue cycle operations, including claims, denials, accounts receivable, payer issues, and billing performanceMaintain working knowledge of medical coding, CPT/ICD-10, insurance requirements, and reimbursementCoordinate practice bookkeeping and financial operations, including accounts payable, payroll coordination, budgeting, financial reporting, and collaboration with outside accounting resourcesAdminister employee benefits, health insurance, retirement plans, and other employment programsOversee insurance and payer relations, including credentialing and enrollment as neededMaintain practice policies and procedures and ensure compliance with HIPAA, OSHA, and applicable federal and state healthcare regulationsCoordinate risk management and practice insurance requirementsOversee practice technology and systems, including the EHR, phone systems, computers, network/IT vendors, and other operational technologyManage relationships with outside vendors, service providers, and contractorsOversee facility and building-related operational needsEvaluate workflows and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and improve patient and staff experienceAssist providers and staff with operational issues and problem-solvingQualificationsPrevious experience in medical practice management, healthcare administration, or a similar healthcare leadership roleStrong understanding of medical office operations and healthcare workflowsExperience supervising and supporting employees in a busy professional environmentWorking knowledge of medical billing, revenue cycle management, insurance, CPT/ICD-10 coding, and payer processesExperience with budgeting, bookkeeping, financial reporting, payroll, xhyhwjd or other practice financial functions preferredKnowledge of HIPAA and healthcare compliance requirementsExperience with EHR/EMR systems and healthcare technologyStrong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and projectsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsStrong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independentlyAbility to communicate effectively with physicians, employees, patients, vendors, insurance companies, and outside business partnersNeurology or specialty medical practice experience is a plus, but not requiredWhat We OfferFull-time positionMonday–Friday schedule; no weekendsHealth and dental insurance401(k)/retirement benefitsPaid time offSupportive, established teamPositive work environmentOpportunity to play a meaningful leadership role in an established specialty medical practice
