What You'll Do
- Deliver high-quality nursing care in the operating room setting using the Nursing Process
- Assess surgical patients' needs and develop appropriate care plans
- Assist in surgical procedures as a circulator, ensuring safety and adherence to protocols
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes
- Maintain patient safety, privacy, and comfort during operative procedures
- Document care accurately and support compliance with healthcare regulations
- Provide education and instruction to patients and their families pre- and post-operation
- Support unit and departmental goals through professional nursing practices
What You Need
- Current RN license in Louisiana
- BLS certification from the American Heart Association
- Minimum of 2 years surgical or OR nursing experience
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Demonstrated good judgment and team collaboration skills
