Production Technician

Production Technician Job Overview The Production Technician plays an important role in supporting daily production operations. This position is responsible for completing a variety of hands-on tasks that help ensure the production process runs safely, smoothly, and efficiently. Responsibilities for Production Technician Review assembly prints and identify the correct parts needed for each build Use measuring tools, including tape measures, digital protractors, digital calipers, and other related tools Perform vehicle disassembly work, including fluid extraction, low-voltage battery removal, hoist operation, engine removal, cab removal, and axle removal Complete assembly work using hand tools, socket wrenches, torque wrenches, screwdrivers, and other shop tools Record important build information such as serial numbers, torque specifications, and assembly revision levels Support shop organization, production flow, and assembly line improvements Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area Assist with other tasks as assigned by the supervisor Qualifications for Production Technician 2–3 years of experience in assembly, manufacturing, automotive, or a similar hands-on production environment Previous experience in specialty vehicle manufacturing is preferred EV experience is a plus Lean manufacturing or process improvement experience is a plus Strong problem-solving skills Ability to work well with others in a team environment Dependable attendance and punctuality Previous experience in a start-up or fast-changing manufacturing environment is a plus #J-18808-Ljbffr Optimal
