Production General - Fabrication (Part Time)

Green Bay Dressed Beef LLC (Acme Street), a company of American Foods Group, has opportunities for Production General - Fabrication (Part Time) in our Acme plant. Must have the ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment with dedication to quality.

Work Hours (Start and end time may vary based on production needs)

First Shift Manufacturing

Period 1 4:45 am - 9:00 am

Period 2 9:00 am - 1:30 pm or end of shift (minus 30 minutes unpaid lunch)

Second Shift Manufacturing

Period 1 1:30 pm - 5 pm

Period 2 5:15 pm - 9:30 pm (or end of shift)

Benefits

• Employees working an average of less than 30 hours per week during the measurement period (12 months back to the date of hire) will not be eligible for benefits.

How Do I Sign Up To Work?

• Employees MUST have access to the internet; a scheduling system (Shift Planning) is used to sign up for available positions/jobs and to update their profile.
• Employees are assigned to a general labor position until they qualify to develop a specific position. (i.e. chuck boner, rib boner, gutter, etc.).
• Employees are notified via text or email of available shifts.
• Employees WILL ONLY be notified of positions/jobs they are qualified to develop.
• Employees MUST register to work no later than 4pm on Thursdays for the following week.

Attendance

• As a flexible time employee you will choose the days and hours you wish to work. It is a privilege to work in the flexible program. If you sign up to work and do not show up, you will not be in the program. Attendance Policy will be covered in orientation.

As Production General - Fabrication (Part Time) you:

• Perform a variety of specialized tasks in a warm, hot, or wet environment.
• Use appropriate tools, such as knives, hooks, or other specialized equipment.
• Perform physical tasks that require upper body strength and constant repetitive motions.
• Stand on hard surfaces all shift; use of ladders and personal protective equipment (PPE) in all areas of the facility is required.
• Compliance with all food safety policies and regulations.
• Comply with all safety and cleaning processes and procedures to ensure the safety of our employees, customers, and visitors.
• Maintain and promote a strong safety culture and follow all safety policies, procedures, and regulations. Identify and communicate workplace hazards and correct or seek help to correct unsafe actions or conditions.
• Work and collaborate with a diverse workforce.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications (Required):

• Must be 18 years of age.
• Must be able to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• Must be able to work in a variety of warm, hot, humid, cold, wet or slippery surfaces at varied heights within and around moving equipment and parts with the use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Must be able to perform the duties of the job with or without reasonable accommodations.
• Successfully completed trainings:
  • Safety.
  • Safe Food Quality (SQF).
  • Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs).
  • Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP).
  • Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  • Food Defense.
• Must have access to the internet; a scheduling system (Shift Planning) is used to sign up for available positions/jobs and to update their profile.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous manufacturing experience in a USDA inspected beef, pork, or poultry facility
• Previous production experience
• Work history in the last 12 months
