**Job Summary

**

Seeking a Lab Technician to support R&D and manufacturing through laboratory testing, sample preparation, experiments, data analysis, and equipment troubleshooting involving gypsum, insulation, and ceiling products.

**Responsibilities

**

• Prepare and test material samples according to established procedures.
• Conduct laboratory experiments and document results.
• Collect, analyze, and report laboratory data.
• Perform basic statistical analysis using Excel.
• Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot laboratory equipment.
• Maintain laboratory safety, 5S, and inventory standards.
• Prepare accurate laboratory reports and documentation.
• Follow company SOPs, HSE requirements, and applicable testing standards.

**Qualifications

**

• High School Diploma/GED with 3–4 years of chemical laboratory experience , OR an Associate Degree in Chemistry, Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Prior laboratory experience required; co-op/internship experience is acceptable .
• Basic understanding of laboratory procedures, HSE, and safety practices.
• Basic statistical/data analysis skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Comfortable working with chemicals, laboratory equipment, power tools, and basic machinery.
• Strong documentation, organization, and communication skills.
