Automotive Technician/Mechanic

We offer flat-rate pay starting at $39/hr for Journeyman level technicians, increasing to $42/hr based on training and certification levels and $46/hr for GM World Class level technicians. On top of these hourly rates we also offer a significant efficiency bonus and a 1.5x warranty labor rate multiplier along with a flat rate guarantee of 40 hours a week. If you are just starting out as a Technician we also have a place for you and will help you reach GM World Class status if that's your goal. Responsibilities Maintain a working knowledge of current industry best practices in automotive repair Perform thorough diagnostic procedures to accurately identify vehicle concerns and recommend appropriate repairs Inspect vehicles in accordance with state emissions and safety requirements. Complete necessary repairs and perform test drives to verify vehicle performance and repair quality. Operate all automotive repair tools and diagnostic equipment safely and effectively. Participate in ongoing in-house training and skill development. Perform frequent physical tasks including walking, lifting, bending, kneeling, reaching, and squatting. Lift and carry up to a minimum of 50 lbs as required. Perform other duties as assigned.
