Desired Skills and Experience:

• Current, valid Physical Therapist (PT) license in Michigan
• Experience or strong interest in school-based physical therapy
• Competence in supporting students with moderate to severe disabilities
• Ability to design, implement, and document evidence-based therapy interventions
• Strong communication and collaboration skills to partner effectively with educators, families, and related service providers
• Comfortable working in a center-based educational environment with students ages K-26
• No PTA supervision or collaboration is required for this position

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct PT services to eligible students within the program
• Assess student needs and develop individualized treatment plans and goals
• Monitor student progress and adapt interventions accordingly
• Consult and collaborate with teachers, families, and support staff to ensure integrated services
• Contribute to IEP meetings and complete necessary documentation in a timely manner
• Participate in ongoing professional development as needed
