Logistics Administrative Assistant

Job Full Description Logistics Administrative Assistant Pay: $22.00-$25.00 hour (DOE) Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. Temp-to-hire position Start Date: ASAP A Logistics Administrative Assistant supports warehouse, freight, and supply-chain operations through clerical, clerical data, and coordination duties. Key Responsibilities Documentation & Data Entry: Process shipping/receiving documents, bills of lading, and import/export paperwork accurately into proprietary or standard logistics IT frameworks (such as WMS/TMS platforms). Shipment Tracking: Monitor inbound and outbound freight, tracking status updates from dispatch to final delivery. Communication: Liaise smoothly with carriers, drivers, internal warehouse staff, and global customers regarding delivery schedules, updates, and discrepancies. Inventory & Reporting: Help maintain inventory tracking data, audits, detention logs, and routine operational reports. Qualifications & Skills Experience: 2+ years of general office, data entry, or supply-chain/transportation experience. Software Literacy: Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel) and familiarity with warehouse management or enterprise resource planning software. Organization: Strong attention to detail, time management, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced freight environment.
