ARRIVE AUSTIN BARISTA/SERVER POSITIONThe Barista/Server brings the coffee bar and floor service together at ARRIVE Austin, preparing espresso drinks and refreshments while creating a warm, welcoming guest experience. You'll be the upbeat, detail-oriented presence guests remember.The task at hand includes:Creating a warm, welcoming guest experience, from greeting to farewell, that turns first-time guests into regulars.Learning our steps of service, products, menu, and systems inside and out.Taking orders, preparing espresso drinks, serving coffee and other refreshments, gladly adjusting milk, sugar, and shot ratios to guest preference.Keeping the coffee bar and side-work areas restocked, replenished, prepped, and organized, working with the team to keep everything running smoothly.Communicating openly with restaurant managers on customer feedback and collaborating with hotel staff so overnight guests know about our offerings and promotions.Complying with health and safety regulations and accurately receiving and processing payments.What we're looking for:Required:Attention to detail, speed, and accuracy, with the ability to prioritize, organize, and follow directions through to completion.A clear thinker who stays calm under pressure, resolves problems with good judgment, and works cohesively as part of a team.Flexible schedule, available to work a variety of shifts.Preferred:Minimum 1 year of restaurant experience preferred.Physical:Ability to push, pull, or lift up to 25 lbs., and continuously stand, walk, and bend for an 8-hour shift.What's in it for you:Competitive compensation package with medical, dental, vision, and life insurance, plus 401(k).Paid time off, holiday pay, and sick pay.Career advancement and professional development as we open new hotels and restaurants nationwide.Employee discounts across our entire portfolio (25 hotels and more to come!).
