Peoplesoft Integrator or Peoplesoft Analyst

Role Peoplesoft Integrator or Peoplesoft Analyst Location New York, NY (Hybrid) Duration Long Term Responsibilities Perform detailed analysis, planning, and requirements definition for new PeopleSoft HCM functionality. Develop functional architectures and models to meet evolving business requirements. Conduct process improvement reviews, analyzing system functionality, operations, logistics, and personnel needs. Map business processes to corresponding PeopleSoft functionalities. Ensure applications align with business needs and collaborate with process owners to resolve issues. Define data flow and ensure integration between business processes and systems. Facilitate requirements gathering and user design sessions with key stakeholders. Collaborate and coordinate project deliverables with other MTA groups such as MTAIT, Performance Management, etc. Collaborate with application designers to complete system enhancement designs. Design and develop reports for HCM users. Participate in testing of new functionalities, including end‑to‑end testing and system integration testing. Assist the team lead in defining staffing, responsibilities, and schedules for system enhancements. Identify cross‑team issues and coordinate their resolution. Develop PeopleSoft queries to meet reporting needs. Write complex DML and DQL SQL scripts for database queries. Qualifications, Experience & Education Minimum 10 years of functional and technical experience in PeopleSoft HCM v9.2 or higher. Extensive experience with the following PeopleSoft modules: Human Resources Compensation Position Management Performance Management Learning and Development Benefits Administration Talent Acquisition Management/Candidate Gateway Hands‑on experience with PeopleSoft self‑service functions. Proven track record of full lifecycle PeopleSoft implementations (design, build, configuration, testing, and deployment). Familiarity with PeopleSoft Test Framework is a plus. Ability to translate customer requirements into functional and technical designs. Strong problem‑solving skills with the ability to identify, address, and manage risks and issues. Experience reviewing project deliverables for completeness, quality, and compliance with established standards. 10+ years of experience building moderate to complex PeopleSoft queries. 10+ years of experience writing DQL and DML SQL scripts. Experience with state government projects is preferred. Excellent communication skills (written, verbal, and presentation). Strong understanding of relational database design and functionality. Experience in desktop/mobile computer support and troubleshooting software related problems. Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high‑pressure environment. Ability to work independently, set priorities, and meet deadlines in a fast‑paced setting. Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work with individuals at all levels of the organization. Proficiency with Microsoft Office 2013 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Proficiency with Microsoft SharePoint version 2010 or higher. Proficiency with Microsoft Project version 2010 or higher. Familiarity with creating Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and documenting key process requirements; can produce sample work upon request to the MTA. Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills. Strong proficiency in business writing. Critical Key Requirements Minimum of 10 years experience and expertise in PeopleSoft HCM Functional. Minimum of 10 years experience and expertise in PeopleSoft HCM modules such as HR, Compensation, Position Management, Talent Acquisition, ESS/MSS, Performance, Learning Management, and more. Minimum of 10 years PeopleSoft HCM Technical experience. Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills. Strong proficiency in business writing.
