Quality & Patient Safety Specialist

Immediate Need for a perm full time onsite Quality & Patient Safety Specialist (QPS). Location: Queens NY area. Salary: $140-150K max. Full Benefits. Bachelor's Degree required. Master’s Degree in a related field preferred Clinical Licensure required. CPHQ/CPPS- Preferred/Required within 6 months Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience required 3-5 years Project Management experience preferred Trained or certified in methodologies such as Six Sigma, PDCA, Lean, or Project Management preferred. Main Job Scope: The QPS Specialist is a key player in ensuring excellent quality and patient safety within the hospital. As an expert for assigned departments/units, the QPS Specialist assists in the development, implementation, and improvement of programs to meet quality and safety standards, especially when it comes to patient care.
