Respiratory Therapist - Night Shift

This is a 13-week contract position.

Night shift, 3x12-hour schedule from 19:00 to 07:30. Weekend coverage is required.

We are seeking a dedicated Respiratory Therapist with experience in Adult Critical Care and Emergency Departments. The candidate will provide specialized respiratory care in a fast-paced environment, utilizing advanced equipment and techniques to support patient needs.

Responsibilities:

• Administer respiratory therapy and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
• Monitor and assess patient responses to therapy and document findings.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop care plans for critical care patients.
• Operate and manage respiratory equipment, including Hamilton G5 and Respironics V60.
• Educate patients and families on respiratory therapy and procedures.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Minimum of 1 year experience in Adult Critical Care and Emergency Department settings.
• Current state license and certifications: RRT, BLS, and ACLS.
• Prior experience with equipment such as Optiflow, Cough Assist, and Vest is preferred.
