Duties Include

• Carry out comprehensive patient assessments, performing physical examinations, and reviewing detailed medical histories
• Assist in diagnosing surgical conditions through the evaluation of imaging studies and lab results

• Provide crucial intraoperative support by getting operating rooms ready, positioning patients, and passing surgical instruments during procedures
• Offer exceptional pre- and post-operative care, encompassing medication administration, wound management, discharge planning, and patient education

Qualifications

• Master's degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program
• Preferred completion of clinical rotations focused on surgical practices

Certifications Required

• Current and unrestricted PA-C certification
• Mandatory BLS and ACLS certifications
• State licensure (or eligibility) to practice as a Physician Assistant
