Job Type: Full Time Job Summary We are seeking a dependable Lube Technician to perform preventative maintenance and lubrication services on heavy construction equipment. This role is critical to keeping our fleet safe, reliable, and job-ready. Ideal candidates have experience working with heavy equipment and take pride in preventative maintenance, cleanliness, and safety. Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine lubrication and preventative maintenance on heavy equipment including excavators, dozers, loaders, graders, haul trucks, and support equipment
- Change engine oil, hydraulic oil, filters, and fluids
- Grease equipment according to manufacturer and company schedules
- Inspect equipment for leaks, wear, damage, or safety concerns and report findings
- Maintain accurate service records and maintenance logs
- Keep service truck, tools, and work areas clean and organized
- Follow all safety policies, procedures, and job site requirements
- Communicate maintenance needs to supervisors and mechanics
- Previous experience as a lube tech, PM tech, or equipment maintenance technician preferred
- Familiarity with heavy construction equipment strongly preferred
- Basic mechanical knowledge and ability to identify potential equipment issues
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks
- Valid driver's license (CDL a plus, but not required unless noted)
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail
- Experience with fleet maintenance software or service documentation
- Knowledge of diesel engines and hydraulic systems
- OSHA 10/30 or MSHA certification
- Willingness to work flexible hours or occasional overtime
- Construction job sites and maintenance yards
- Exposure to noise, dust, grease, and weather conditions
