Job Title: MS/Tele RN Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: MS/Tele Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Night 3x12-Hour Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience required License: Active state license required Certifications: ACLS and BLS required; NIH preferred Must-Have: - MS/Tele and Telemetry experience required - Cardiac Monitoring and Emergency response skills - Interpretation of dysrhythmias - Management of dysrhythmias - IV insulin protocols - Feeding tube care and management experience - Experience with patients with Renal failure - Accessing Ports, Blood Product Administration, Central line care/management - Starting IVs - Experience with Total Joint Replacements - External CPAP/BIPAP, High Flow Nasal Cannula, Oxygen administration Description: Position/Specialty: MS/Tele RN Shift: 3x12 Nights (1830-0700) Average Daily Census: 19, 30 bed unit. First-timers accepted. Weekend Requirement: Must work every other weekend. Will float within scope to meet facility needs as necessary. Open to discussing schedule requests with manager. Local candidates accepted without restrictions. Guaranteed hours information to be discussed with management. RTO restrictions should be consulted with manager. Experience with cardiac drips and titration is required. Experience with wound care and wound vacs is essential. Preferred experience in community hospital settings. Daily census includes adult and geriatric patient demographics. Patient diagnoses include CHF, COPD, UTI, pneumonia, cellulitis, and more. Interdisciplinary support includes multiple services such as Physical Therapy and Pharmacy. Required skills include proficiency in telemetry monitoring and IV therapy management.
