Preschool/PreK Aide, Assumption Bellingham JobID: 10956 Position Type: Pre-Kindergarten/Early Childhood/ Aide Date Posted: 6/1/2026 Location: Assumption, Bellingham Job Posting Part-time Preschool Assistant for 2026-2027 Assumption Catholic School is seeking a preschool teacher beginning this fall. The position will start August 26th, 2026, or until filled and last until the end of the school year. Job Description Classroom Management Assist/support the lead teachers in presenting the academic program to students. Prepare materials and offer suggestions in the planning process with teachers. Help with student coordination and classroom management. Work individually with students and in small groups to support developmental skills. Know the licensing requirements and keep student information records accordingly. Supervise students in the classroom, outside, and during breaks. Alert the lead teacher to special needs of individual students. Collect and display suitable material for educational displays; prepare displays; decorate classroom. Take all necessary and reasonable precautions to protect students, equipment, materials, and facilities. Perform a variety of tasks such as planning lessons, communicating with families, photocopying, etc., as required. Perform related work as required. Reports to: Preschool Director/Elementary Principal Hours of duty 5.25 hours per day/ 15.75 hours per week: Mon/Wed/Fri. (7:30am to 12:45pm) Rate of pay Salary: This is negotiable based on experience. This ranges from $19 to $21 per hour. Any offered salary is determined based on internal equity, internal salary ranges, market data, applicant's skills and prior relevant experience, degrees, and certifications. Benefits None offered for this position. Qualifications Bloodborne Pathogens, CPR, First Aid, Food Handler's permit.
