A position is available for a pharmacist to support inpatient pharmacy distribution functions at a hospital in the Seattle area. This contract opportunity offers an immediate start with a duration of 16 weeks or longer, with potential for temp-to-hire.

Schedule/Hours:

• Variable days and afternoons
• 8-hour shifts

Responsibilities:

• Verify medication orders using Epic
• Perform final product verification checks to ensure accuracy and safety
• Provide drug information and answer clinical questions from healthcare staff
• Supervise pharmacy technician activities to ensure efficient workflow
• Participate in Code Blue and emergency response teams
• Utilize IT systems including Epic and Pyxis for medication management

Qualifications:

• Current Washington State pharmacist license is required
• Prior hospital pharmacy experience is essential
• Ability to be available full-time immediately
• Strong knowledge of inpatient pharmacy operations and medication safety standards
