Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
Bring your Special Education expertise to a unique and rewarding remote contract position! You will provide dedicated, one-on-one support to a student requiring special education services for one hour each week. Leverage your teaching experience and make an impact by providing high-quality instruction and guidance in a virtual setting.
This flexible opportunity spans from July 6 to October 16 and is tailored for educators seeking a meaningful way to support a student’s learning journey outside the traditional classroom. Sessions will take place once a week—Monday, Tuesday, or Wednesday evenings from 4:30 to 5:30.
Qualifications:
- Valid Utah Special Education Teacher licensure required
- Experience delivering individualized or small group instruction to special education students
- Familiarity with remote/virtual teaching platforms
- Ability to develop and adapt lesson plans for online learning
- Strong communication and organizational skills
Your Responsibilities:
- Provide one hour per week of direct, virtual special education instruction to a student in Utah
- Collaborate with relevant school staff to monitor progress and address student needs
- Customize instructional materials to engage and support the student’s learning goals
- Maintain documentation as required by the district
