Intern, Plant Science LOCATION: Cape Canaveral, FL JOB STATUS: Full-time CLEARANCE: BI investigation CERTIFICATION: N/A TRAVEL: Limited; as needed Must be US citizen Position Summary Astrion is seeking a Plant Science Intern who will support research activities focused on spaceflight and ground‑based plant growth experiments. This position provides hands‑on experience in controlled environment agriculture and space crop production technologies. Required Qualifications Currently pursuing a degree in Plant Science, Horticulture, Biology, Agricultural Science, or a related field. Interest in plant growth systems and controlled environment agriculture. Ability to follow laboratory procedures and work as part of a team. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Preferred Qualifications Coursework or experience in plant physiology, horticulture, hydroponics, or controlled environment agriculture. Experience with data collection and basic scientific research methods. Responsibilities Assist with spaceflight and ground plant growth experiments. Support plant cultivation and maintenance in controlled environment systems. Perform plant propagation activities and routine crop care. Assist with monitoring and optimizing water and nutrient delivery systems. Collect, record, and organize experimental data. Support laboratory and greenhouse operations as needed. #J-18808-Ljbffr
