Medical Billing Specialist - Gainesville, GA

We are looking for a motivated individual to work as a Medical Billing Specialist. Applicants must be organized, able to multi-task, and enjoy working in a cohesive team environment. Responsibilities Following up on unpaid claims, appeals, claim resubmissions, and patient collections. Check patient eligibility. Identify and bill primary, secondary, or tertiary insurances. Help support other team members and remote practice staff as needed. Qualifications 3+ years of experience in a medical office billing department. Knowledge of ICD-10 and CPT code terminology. Ability to complete other duties, tasks, and projects as assigned by manager. Excellent communication skills with professional telephone manners.
