Allied Technician - Respiratory Therapist

Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)

Schedule: 4x12 Hour Nights (Wednesday - Saturday); 48 hours/week

This role is for a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) providing high-quality patient care during night shifts. You will be responsible for the assessment, implementation, and monitoring of respiratory therapy treatments for patients in various settings, including the emergency department and inpatient care, as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct respiratory assessments and interpret data to determine necessary interventions.
• Administer therapeutic and diagnostic procedures including nebulizer treatments, bronchodilator therapy, and airway management.
• Operate and manage ventilators and related equipment.
• Provide patient transport services to other facilities as required.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 3 years of current acute care experience required.
• Prior travel experience is highly preferred.
• Strong proficiency in working with ventilators is essential.
• Experience with home health nebulizers, BiPAP, and CPAP treatments is required.
• Active certifications including BLS from the American Heart Association and NBRC or CRT.
• New Hampshire Respiratory Care License is required; temporary license is accepted with a commitment to apply upon offer.

Additional Details:

Dress Code: Scrubs (any color), closed-toe shoes. No denim or fragrances permitted.

The typical therapist-to-patient ratio is 1:5 or 1:6, ensuring that each patient receives appropriate and focused care during their treatment.
