About the Role:

Internal Medicine Associates Ltd is looking for a friendly and organized Medical Receptionist to be the welcoming face of our practice in Chesterfield, MO. Responsibilities:

• Schedule, confirm, and manage patient appointments using practice management software
• Answer and route incoming phone calls, take messages, and respond to patient inquiriesMaintain and update accurate patient demographic and medical records
• Coordinate referrals, authorizations, and communication between patients and clinical staff
• Manage front desk operations including filing, faxing, and handling correspondence

Requirements:

• Prior experience as a medical receptionist with knowlege of diabetic drugs or in a healthcare front office setting preferred.
• Familiarity with medical terminology, insurance verification, and EMR/EHR systems
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a patient-centered approach
• Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced clinical environment
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and general computer skills
• High school diploma or equivalent required; additional healthcare training a plus
• Professional, reliable, and detail-oriented with a positive attitude
