Job Summary:
Occupational Therapist Inpatient position available in Zachary, Louisiana. The role involves providing occupational therapy services in an inpatient setting, working with adult and geriatric patient populations. Candidates are required to bring their Louisiana occupational therapy license on the first day of employment.
Job Details:
- Location: Zachary, Louisiana
- Shift: Day, 8 hours
- Minimum Hours Per Week: 40 hours
- Required Qualifications: Master Level Degree in Occupational Therapy, Louisiana OT License
- Schedule: Day shift, 8 hours per day, minimum of 40 hours per week
- Additional Information:
- The role involves working on inpatient Med Surg (MS) and Acute Rehab Unit (ARU) with patient ratios of 10:1 on MS and 6:1 on ARU
- Will likely split time between Med Surg and ARU units
- Equipment used includes Electronic Health Record (EHR) system EPIC
- Supervisor: Kim Ray
- Patient population includes adults and geriatrics with conditions such as CVA, orthopedic issues, and cardiac diagnoses
- Dress code is black scrubs; unacceptable attire includes blue jeans, spandex, open-toe shoes, or hoodies
