Staff Product Manager
$180k - $250kOxbow Talent
Founding / Staff Product Manager | Agentic AI | NYC | $180k–$250k
Location: New York City, 5 days onsite
Salary: $180,000–$250,000 base
Employment: Full-time
Oxbow Talent is partnering with an ambitious AI-first software business to appoint its first dedicated Product Manager. This is an opportunity to take ownership of a sophisticated agentic AI platform, working directly with the founding team to shape product strategy, technical direction and delivery.
The company combines the pace and ownership of an early-stage startup with the financial backing and enterprise reach of an established global software organisation.
The Opportunity
- Take full ownership of product strategy, roadmap and prioritisation for an enterprise AI platform.
- Work directly with the founders to take the product through its next stage of development.
- Collaborate closely with AI engineers building production-grade LLM and agentic systems.
- Translate complex customer requirements into clear product decisions and deliverables.
- Shape how AI products are developed, evaluated, launched and continuously improved.
- Establish the product management function from the ground up.
What We're Looking For
- 5+ years of Product Management experience, ideally within AI-native or B2B SaaS businesses.
- Proven experience owning and shipping AI/LLM-powered products into production.
- Strong technical understanding of modern AI systems including agents, evaluations, model behaviour and latency.
- Experience working directly with engineering teams to manage technical trade-offs and delivery.
- Previous experience within an early-stage startup, founding team or high-ownership product environment.
- Comfortable prototyping with modern AI development tools such as Claude Code or Cursor.
- Able to work onsite in New York City five days per week.
Why Consider It?
- First dedicated Product Manager with genuine ownership over product direction.
- Work directly alongside an experienced founding team.
- Build sophisticated AI products used by major enterprise customers.
- Enjoy startup-level autonomy with the backing of a well-established technology organisation.
- Competitive base salary of $180k–$250k.
This opportunity will suit a technically strong Product Manager who enjoys building from zero to one, thrives in fast-moving environments and wants meaningful influence over what gets built.
