Accountabilities:

As a Lead Security Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and delivering enterprise security solutions, improving security operations, and advancing cybersecurity maturity across the organization. You will collaborate with technical teams and stakeholders to address risks, strengthen security controls, and support modern security practices.

• Design, implement, and maintain enterprise security architectures that improve overall cybersecurity posture.
• Develop technical solutions to address vulnerabilities, security gaps, and system risks throughout the technology lifecycle.
• Operate and optimize security platforms including endpoint detection and response (EDR), security information and event management (SIEM), web application firewalls, and vulnerability management tools.
• Architect and advance Zero Trust security strategies across enterprise environments.
• Integrate security requirements into DevSecOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure-as-code processes.
• Support cloud security initiatives and help improve security controls within cloud-based environments.
• Utilize security tools such as Splunk, Tenable, Tanium, and CrowdStrike to monitor, analyze, and strengthen security capabilities.
• Build dashboards and reporting solutions to measure security performance, risk posture, and Zero Trust maturity.
• Analyze technical requirements and validate that systems meet security standards and compliance expectations.
• Support cybersecurity compliance initiatives aligned with government and industry requirements.

Requirements:

The ideal candidate is an experienced cybersecurity professional with strong enterprise security engineering expertise, cloud security knowledge, and the ability to design scalable security solutions. You should have a proven ability to collaborate across technical teams and drive security improvements in complex environments.

• Industry-recognized security certification required, such as CISSP, CAP, CEH, or Security+.
• 8+ years of experience in enterprise security architecture, security engineering, and system administration.
• 2+ years of experience working with cloud security technologies and practices.
• Strong understanding of cybersecurity frameworks, Zero Trust principles, and enterprise security strategies.
• Experience with CDM, DevOps concepts, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure-as-code methodologies.
• Hands-on experience managing enterprise security tools such as EDR, SIEM platforms, and vulnerability scanners.
• Experience implementing security solutions and improving security maturity across large environments.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to both technical and business stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment while collaborating effectively with distributed teams.
