Courier - Casual

Job Details In this role you will be: Pick up and deliver items including medical records, laboratory specimens, medications, sterile supplies, interdepartmental mail, and other hospital materials. Operate hospital vehicles or walk designated routes to complete deliveries across hospital campuses or external locations. Ensure proper handling and security of sensitive, confidential, or hazardous materials, following HIPAA, OSHA, and DOT regulations. Maintain accurate delivery logs and obtain signatures for all pickups and drop-offs. Respond to urgent and stat requests promptly and professionally. Reporting any issues or required maintenance on courier vehicles. Adhere to hospital infection prevention and safety protocols, including wearing appropriate PPE. Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor while interacting with staff, patients, and the public. Assist with sorting, loading, and unloading deliveries as needed. Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor or department leadership. Other duties may change at any time with or without notice.
