Electrical Industrial Maintenance Technician

Electrical Industrial Maintenance Technician Legacy Talent Search is currently seeking candidates for an Electrical Industrial Maintenance Technician role in Biddeford, ME. Key Responsibilities: Perform preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of industrial electrical systems, machinery, and production equipment. Diagnose electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues to minimize equipment downtime. Install, maintain, and repair motors, motor controls, VFDs, PLCs, sensors, and other industrial electrical components. Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals. Perform equipment inspections and identify opportunities for preventative maintenance and process improvements. Assist with equipment installations, upgrades, and commissioning of new production machinery. Ensure all maintenance activities are completed in accordance with OSHA regulations, NFPA standards, and company safety procedures. Accurately document maintenance activities, repairs, and parts usage using maintenance management systems. Collaborate with production and engineering teams to improve equipment reliability and manufacturing efficiency. Respond quickly to equipment breakdowns to restore production with minimal downtime. Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent; technical school or electrical apprenticeship preferred. 3+ years of industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment. Strong knowledge of industrial electrical systems, PLC troubleshooting, motor controls, VFDs, and automation equipment. Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and technical documentation. Experience troubleshooting mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems is highly preferred. Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently and as part of a team. Excellent communication and organizational skills. Flexibility to work varying shifts, overtime, and weekends as needed. What We Offer: Competitive pay starting at $35.00+ per hour DOE.
