The Role We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Mechanical Engineer to join our team supporting the Federal Fuels Market Sector. This role involves assisting with mechanical design, inspection, and planning services for industrial and fuel-related infrastructure projects. The ideal candidate has a strong foundation in mechanical engineering principles with a core focus in piping and fuel systems, and a desire to grow in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. Responsibilities Perform mechanical design and layout of industrial piping and pumping systems, storage tanks, and related equipment Support field inspections and gather data to inform engineering design and planning efforts Prepare and update technical drawings using AutoCAD and Plant 3D Collaborate with senior engineers and project managers to develop project plans and specifications Organize and maintain project documentation, reports, and communication logs Utilize Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, Project) to create reports, schedules, and presentations Ensure all work complies with applicable industry standards and client requirements Qualifications Required 5+ years of engineering experience Bachelor\'s degree in mechanical engineering from an ABET-accredited university EIT is required Proficiency in AutoCAD and Plant 3D.
