About This Role The Offsite Registered Nurse – Infusion provides safe, competent, quality care based on nursing theory and research to a designated group of patients and significant others. Highlights Pay: $68 - $74 Hourly Location: Staten Island, NY Facility: Mount Sinai Hospital Department/Unit: Mt Sinai Assoc-Aly - OFFS Schedule: Full-Time, Day shift What You'll Do Assist in development, implementation, and evaluation of standards of care and professional practice. Assess and evaluate patient needs for, and responses to, care rendered. Provide direct, continuous care for a specific caseload of patients. Coordinate patient care activities, including teaching, rounding, counseling, and discharge planning. Communicate effectively and professionally with patients and healthcare team members. Participate in performance improvement, nursing quality, and nursing research activities. Collaborate with healthcare team members to plan and implement patient care. Conduct discharge phone calls on selected patients. Maintain clinical competence and responsibility for professional growth. Support the mission, philosophy, standards, and objectives of the institution and department. Requirements Education Bachelor of Science with a major in nursing preferred; Associate degree in nursing considered with relevant experience. Experience Relevant clinical competence in area of nursing practice assigned; new graduates must possess current knowledge of the nursing process. Licenses & Certifications Licensed as a Registered Nurse with current registration in New York State. Chemotherapy/Biotherapy Provider Card. BLS from AHA. #J-18808-Ljbffr
