Senior Software Engineer, Full Stack

Responsibilities

• Implement new product functionality end to end in consultation with product managers.
• Create technical plans, report progress, write tests, and perform end-customer validation.
• Implement and generalize the logic behind Parabola flow steps.
• Write performant TypeScript and Python across the stack.
• Optimize services for scalability, stability, and observability.
• Consult with customer-facing teams and customers to solve problems and guide product growth.
• Help define engineering processes and practices for future growth.
• Use AI tools such as Cursor and Claude Code to improve engineering efficiency.

Requirements

• 5+ years of full-stack software engineering experience in a team-based, high-uptime, continuously delivered codebase.
• Experience with relational databases, REST APIs, and object-oriented programming principles.
• Professional experience working with AI/LLMs, either building an AI-powered tool or using AI tools to augment work and impact.
• Ability to communicate enthusiastically, collaborate effectively, and work independently in teams with limited product direction.
• Willingness to work hybrid from the San Francisco or New York City office approximately three days per week.
• Preferred experience with Python, TypeScript, React, Redux, or Node.js.
• Preferred experience in dynamic, high-growth organizations.
