Verification Specialist

At OneMain Financial, you’ll play a critical role in supporting our customers and teams nationwide by ensuring loan applications are reviewed swiftly and accurately. What You’ll Do Review and verify consumer loan applications to make sure all customer information, documents, and requirements are accurate. Ensure every loan meets company policies and regulatory standards before approval. Communicate with Centralized Sales, Underwriting, and Branch teams to resolve questions and support a seamless customer experience. Identify and elevate any complex or unusual situations—like discrepancies or potential fraud—to the right team members. Handle important funding tasks, making sure each loan is properly fulfilled and documented. Help deliver outstanding service and contribute to customer satisfaction by keeping the process efficient and reliable. Qualifications High school diploma or GED required. Strong communication skills—both written and verbal. Positive attitude and motivation to help customers and drive results. Ability to work collaboratively with multiple teams. Preferred Previous experience in loan verification, processing, fulfillment, or similar customer service/operations roles is helpful. Location & Schedule Tempe, AZ // Hybrid: 4 days in the office (Mon‑Thurs), flexible arrangements available. Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM–7:00 PM (local time); occasional Saturdays (up to 3 per quarter).
