Job Summary:
Intensive Care Unit (ICU) registered nurse position is available in an organization located in Rhinelander, Wisconsin. The role involves providing critical care to patients in a hospital setting with a patient-to-nurse ratio of 1:2. The position requires working rotating 12-hour shifts, including every other weekend and holiday, with a start date of November 9, 2026, and a duration of 13 weeks. The role necessitates compliance with departmental policies, including vaccination requirements during flu season.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Rotating shifts, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Wisconsin Registered Nurse (RN) license, American Heart Association (AHA) or Red Cross Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certifications. Minimum of 2+ years of ICU experience. Prior critical access/rural experience highly preferred. Charting experience with EPIC required.
• Preferred Qualifications: Associate Degree or Certificate in Nursing.
• Float: Float to other units within skill set; float to other organization locations within a 40-mile radius, including Tomahawk, Howard Young, and Eagle River; float may be pre-scheduled if needed.
• Additional Information: The role includes the possibility of low census hours that are unbillable, with up to 36 hours allocated. During flu season, travelers who decline flu and COVID-19 vaccinations are required to wear masks at all times, per organizational policy.
