Laboratory Technician - Quality Control (3rd Shift) Job Description Join a growing quality control laboratory where you'll play a key role in ensuring products meet quality and safety standards before release. This position offers hands-on laboratory testing, opportunities to work independently, and exposure to a variety of analytical techniques in a GMP-regulated environment. Responsibilities + Perform routine quality control testing on raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products. + Collect samples from manufacturing and prepare them for analysis. + Conduct laboratory testing including pH, wet chemistry, and other analytical methods. + Accurately document and review results following GMP and SOP requirements. + Communicate test results and quality concerns to production and quality teams. + Maintain, calibrate, and troubleshoot laboratory equipment. + Support continuous improvement initiatives and laboratory operations. Qualifications + Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Biology, Biochemistry, Microbiology, or a related science field preferred. + Laboratory experience through industry work, internships, research, or coursework. + Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality. + Ability to work independently and manage priorities on an overnight shift. + Experience in a GMP environment is a plus. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of PORTAGE, WI. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $24.26 - $28.96/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
