Job Responsibilities

• Create Individualized Treatment Plans: Assess patient needs and design tailored therapy strategies to meet their functional objectives.
• Implement Therapeutic Techniques: Apply evidence-based methods to support the enhancement of patients' motor skills, cognitive functions, and essential daily activities.
• Collaborate with Multidisciplinary Teams: Work hand-in-hand with fellow OTs, PTs, STs, physicians, and nursing staff to provide well-rounded, holistic care.
• Guide Patients and Families: Offer education to patients and their families on therapy practices that encourage ongoing progress in their home settings.
• Track and Report Progress: Monitor clinical outcomes and make adjustments to treatment as necessary, ensuring patients remain on track.

Educational Requirements

• Bachelor's or master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
• Ongoing education or post-graduate certifications are encouraged and supported.

Licensure and Certification

• Current active license as an Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) .
• NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification is required.
