MRI Technologist

Overview JOB SUMMARY: Seeking a skilled and certified MRI Technologist to perform magnetic resonance imaging procedures. Responsibilities Perform MRI scans according to physician's orders and established protocols. Position patients to ensure optimal imaging results. Administer contrast media as prescribed and monitor patients for adverse reactions. Operate MRI equipment safely and effectively. Maintain accurate patient records and documentation. Adhere to all safety policies and procedures, including radiation safety and infection control. Schedule / Shift On-call required: Yes, shared weekday nights and possible rotating weekend coverage. Weekends not required. Block schedules not required. 48 hours not approved. Required Qualifications Washington State Department of Health (DOH) MRI Certification. National registry in MRI (e.g., ARRT(MR) or equivalent). Certifications ARRT(MR) or equivalent. BLS (Basic Life Support). Experience 1 year of experience as an MRI Technologist. Skills Proficient in operating MRI scanners. Knowledge of MRI physics and safety protocols. Strong understanding of anatomy and physiology. Excellent patient care and communication skills. EMR / Systems Epic Patient Population General adult and adolescent patient population. Unit / Specialty MRI Department Position may float between units. Floating / On-Call Will position float between units: No. (Clarification: The "Will position float between units: No" contradicts the previous statement.
