Key Responsibilities of the Registered Nurse - CVICU

Provide direct patient care to postoperative cardiac surgery patients with a focus on primary recovery.
Utilize advanced skills such as ACLS, balloon pump, and impella device management.
Document patient information accurately using the Meditech Expanse system.
Adhere to hospital-specific protocols and unit guidelines.

Requirements of the Registered Nurse - CVICU

1-2 years of experience with fresh cardiac surgery patients in a primary recovery setting.
ACLS certification.
Training in balloon pump, impella, and hemosphere or acumen systems.
