About the Role

The Company is seeking a Vice President for AI Strategy and Transformation. This pivotal role is not focused on technology per se, but on the business leadership aspect of defining and executing AI initiatives that will create a competitive edge, drive operational excellence, and accelerate the development and commercialization of life-changing therapies. The successful candidate will be expected to lead enterprise AI workstreams, shape the thinking of senior stakeholders, and develop the next generation of AI-enabled capabilities and talent. This includes defining the AI strategy and roadmap, identifying high-value AI use cases, and translating business priorities into AI product strategies that can be scaled across various functions and regions. Candidates for this role at The Company should have a strong educational background, with an MBA, MS, or PhD required, and an advanced degree in a quantitative or life sciences discipline being a plus. Experience is also a key factor, with a preference for those who have worked in top-tier strategy consulting with a focus on AI and digital transformation, or in enterprise AI strategy, data science leadership, or digital transformation within biopharma or life sciences. The role demands a deep understanding of modern AI technologies and the ability to translate technical concepts into business strategy. Strong problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills are essential, as is the ability to work in a fast-paced, regulated environment and deliver against timelines.
