The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in independently handling commercial contract negotiations. As a member of MPS’ Legal department, this person will work closely with other team members and collaborate with MPS’ internal stakeholders and business groups to provide strategic legal advice on commercial transactions.**Responsibilities Include*** Support and manage commercial contract negotiations with strategic partners and customers.* Collaborate and advise internal clients on complex commercial transactions while thinking strategically about mitigating legal risks and providing practical, business-oriented guidance.* Advise and support sales and operations on a wide variety of complex commercial agreements, including direct engagements and supply agreements with customers and partners.* Review, draft, and negotiate agreements with vendors and critical suppliers, partners, and customers in a complex supply chain.* Develop and customize novel agreements without use of templates.* Use excellent business judgment to assess legal risk, drive projects, and identify pragmatic and creative legal and business solutions.* Build relationships with various teams and internal clients across the organization to collaborate, identify and resolve issues, and drive deals to completion.**Requirements*** J.D. from accredited law school and admitted to the bar in good standing.* 5+ years of legal practice experience at a law firm and/or in-house, including drafting and negotiating commercial agreements.* Knowledge of commercial laws and substantial expertise with a wide variety of commercial transactions, including developing, drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts with multi-national companies.* Ability to shift priorities and handle multiple, competing tasks under tight deadlines with excellent attention to detail.* Strong organization, problem solving, and analytical skills with the ability to resolve complex issues in creative and effective ways.* Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.* Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to advise and build relationships with management, team members, and cross-functional partners.* Passion for personal accountability and setting high standards is essential for success.* Ability to travel.**Location*** Kirkland, WA or San Jose, CAMPS offers a comprehensive benefits package.
