Will begin very part time, as season comes in will have more shifts

The Server-Shift Manager plays a crucial role in overseeing daily restaurant operations, ensuring exceptional customer service, and managing a medium-sized team of 6 to 15 employees. Reporting directly to the General Manager, this role requires effective leadership, strong organizational skills, and a commitment to maintaining health and safety standards in a dynamic, variable shift environment.

Responsibilities

• Supervise shift activities and coordinate team efforts to meet operational goals
• Deliver excellent customer service and promptly address customer concerns
• Manage cash handling and reconcile transactions accurately
• Control inventory and assist with ordering and stock management
• Train and develop staff to uphold service standards and company policies
• Resolve conflicts among staff and customers efficiently and professionally
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
• Maintain quality assurance across all service areas

Preferred Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year experience in restaurant or hospitality management
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid Food Handlers Card
• Proven skills in customer service and staff supervision
• Strong conflict resolution and cash handling capabilities
• Knowledge of food safety standards and inventory management
• Excellent communication and team leadership abilities
• Familiarity with kitchen operations and experience taking and submitting weekly food orders
