Phlebotomist
Labcorp
Labcorp seeks a Phlebotomist for its Girard, Ohio location to perform blood collections, process specimens, and provide patient services. The role operates Tuesday–Friday mornings and Saturday afternoons at a patient service center.
Responsibilities
- Perform venipuncture and capillary blood collections for patients of all ages
- Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, and alcohol testing
- Prepare specimens for laboratory testing and maintain accurate patient information logs
- Enter patient data and process billing information and payments
- Provide customer service and perform administrative duties as assigned
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Phlebotomy certification or completed accredited training program
- Minimum three months phlebotomy experience or equivalent certification
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to pass color blindness test and work independently or in teams
- Reliable transportation and flexibility for overtime
