As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a government location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. You will interact professionally with employees and visitors, communicate observations, and support a welcoming environment. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $17.34 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeSat05:00 AM - 01:00 PMSun05:00 AM - 01:00 PM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and members of the public by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a government location. Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established protocols and notifying appropriate personnel. Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns. Monitor access points, verify credentials as directed, maintain awareness of visitor activity, and report unauthorized access attempts or unusual conditions. Prepare accurate daily activity reports, incident documentation, and shift logs, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal supervision and site representatives. Minimum Requirements: Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
