Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Key Qualifications:

• Possess a valid MDE Early Childhood Special Education License
• Experience working in early childhood and special education settings (preferred)
• Skilled in developing and implementing IEPs and individualized instructional strategies
• Strong teamwork, communication, and organizational skills

What You’ll Do:

• Provide high-quality instruction to two groups of 6–8 students each (Group 1: Tuesday–Friday mornings; Group 2: Tuesday–Friday afternoons)
• Work closely with two full-time paraeducators in the classroom for additional student support
• Use Mondays for paperwork, meetings, and occasional floating assignments within the ECSE program
• Collaborate with colleagues and families to support each student’s academic and social-emotional development
• Maintain accurate records, implement behavior plans, and monitor student progress
• Participate in professional learning and contribute to a positive school culture
• For those interested in part-time, flexibility in days/times is currently available and could lead to full-time status
