Job Summary:

We are looking for a friendly, professional, and organized Host/Hostess to join our team. As the first point of contact for our guests, you will play a key role in creating a welcoming and positive dining experience. Your main responsibilities include greeting guests, managing reservations and waitlists, and guiding guests to their tables in a timely and efficient manner.

Key Responsibilities:

Greet guests warmly and professionally as they enter the restaurant.

Manage reservations using a booking system (e.g., OpenTable or similar).

Maintain an organized waitlist and provide accurate wait times.

Escort guests to their tables, provide menus, and introduce their server.

Answer the phone and respond to inquiries about the restaurant.

Communicate effectively with servers, bussers, and kitchen staff regarding seating flow.

Ensure the host stand and entry area are clean and presentable at all times.

Assist with opening and closing duties as needed.

Qualifications:

Previous customer service or hosting experience preferred, but not required.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Friendly, outgoing, and professional demeanor.

Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment.

Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.

Basic knowledge of restaurant operations is a plus.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.

Ability to lift up to 15 pounds occasionally.
