Financial Advisor

Financial Advisor Edward Jones is seeking a self‑motivated, client‑focused individual to build and grow an independent practice within our supportive, team‑driven environment. Key Responsibilities Build relationships to create new clients via face‑to‑face and virtual sourcing strategies (residential, business, networking, introductions, referrals, social media, and speaking engagements). Deeply understand clients’ and prospective clients’ needs, priorities, and concerns to accelerate trust and create personalized, comprehensive strategies that help them achieve their goals. Oversee branch processes, roles, and responsibilities to ensure a high‑quality, streamlined client experience consistent with firm policies, regulatory requirements, and ethical guidelines. Engage the branch team to create, monitor, and adjust the branch business plan to increase branch effectiveness and achieve desired business results. Create a highly engaging environment in the branch that fosters mutual trust, respect, feedback, and accountability. Qualifications A bachelor’s degree is strongly preferred or equivalent work‑related experience within the securities/financial services industry. Financial services and/or sales experience. Financial services registration, licensing, or certification. Professional and/or military career progression. Licensing SIE (can be obtained without firm sponsorship), Series 7 and Series 66 required; registrations may be obtained at Edward Jones during the assigned paid study period if not currently registered. FINRA registrations required within three months. State insurance licenses will be required. Ongoing training through the firm and regulatory authorities (FINRA and SEC) and required CE training to keep licenses in good standing. Compensation New advisors receive trainee pay, a supplemental salary for up to five years, commissions, and compensation for new assets secured in the first five years. The target supplemental starting salary range is $45,000–$100,000.
