Travel RN – Medical/Surgical (Night Shift)

Contract | Travel | 13-Week Assignment | Night Shift (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Onsite | Projected Start: July 20, 2026

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a 26-bed Medical Acute Care unit with a 6:1 patient-to-nurse ratio
• Administer and monitor IV drips including heparin using Baxter IV pumps
• Deliver post-operative care for patients following radial cardiac catheterization procedures
• Utilize Meditech EMR system for accurate and timely documentation
• Collaborate with charge nurses and Patient Care Technicians (PCTs) during night shift operations
• Apply SCD machines and other unit equipment in accordance with facility protocols

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum of 1 year of current Med/Surg acute care hospital experience
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Demonstrated ability to manage a general medical patient population

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification
• Experience with Meditech EMR
• Prior travel nursing experience in a Med/Surg setting
