The hours for this position are Monday - Friday, 6:30 am - 3:00 pm. Good attendance is paramount to being successful in this role. Salary Range: $20.23 - $24.72 per hour Why Work at EDCO? Role and Responsibilities Operate the CNC laser cutting machine and support the production team by operating machinery as instructed by supervisors. * Operate the CNC laser cutting machine and other machinery used in the production process, or assist other machine operators * Work in a fast paced environment with fast changing priorities * Unload and Load Steel Truck * Other duties as assigned Qualifications and Education Requirements Incumbent shall have a High School diploma or GED and solid background working with sheet metal and of tooling and tool maintenance. Ability to read a tape measure. Preferred Skills - Ability to lift heavy items as required - Stand for 8 hours per day - Lift raw materials, final products, and items packed for shipment, manually, or using hoist - Ability to distinguish material types including Aluminum, Steel, Stainless Steel, Copper and Brass - Basic shop math skills and the ability to read parts prints - Ability to keep work area clean and organized - Provide a great level of attention to detail and focus on the given task - Work with team members to maximize productivity and efficiency - Strong work ethic - Good attendance/punctuality Monday - Friday 6:30 am - 3:30 pm
