The Arc of Cumberland and Perry Counties is seeking to hire a full-time Direct Support Professional Floater to provide direct care for the individuals we serve with intellectual and developmental disabilities. This Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) position earns a competitive wage of $17.12/hour plus $2.00 an hour premium pay and additional $1/hour shift differential . You would also be eligible for our generous benefits package that includes health, dental, and vision insurance for full-time staff at NO COST for the employee-only coverage . The lack of services for people with disabilities led a group of parents to band together in 1953 to form The Arc of Cumberland and Perry Counties (CPARC). For decades, children and adults with disabilities were systematically denied educational opportunities, vocational training jobs, housing, and almost every other right and service that people without disabilities took for granted. Today, our staff continues to advocate for people with disabilities; offer tools and training to help families; and ensure that individuals live, work, and play in their community.

QUALIFICATIONS

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Must be at least 18 years old
• Valid Pennsylvania driver's license with a safe driving record
• Access to a reliable vehicle during working hours
• Ability to provide physical assistance and personal care as needed
• Experience in the human services field preferred, but not required

WORK SCHEDULE

This floater position provides coverage for open shifts including day, evening, overnight, and weekend hours. Working every other weekend is required.
