MECH TECH D 1 (ELECTRICIAN)

Job Overview Repairs, constructs, installs, troubleshoots, and maintains routine electrical systems and equipment for HII’s Newport News Shipbuilding. Responsibilities include modifying, aligning, calibrating, programming, testing, and maintaining control systems, industrial infrastructure, and production equipment. Tasks also involve cutting, threading, bending, coupling, and strapping conduit, inspecting circuits and wiring for shielding and grounding, and testing equipment for safety and efficiency. Qualifications High School diploma or equivalent. Certification may be required. Employment Details Full‑Time, 1st Shift. No relocation assistance. Not eligible for telework. No travel requirement.
