Job Category: Business Operations / Strategy Job Level: Manager/Principal Duration: Permanent Business Unit: Energy Delivery Department Overview Enterprise Business & Technology Modernization is a cross-functional team leading the Propel program, a major business and technology modernization initiative. Propel will migrate to the new version of SAP, S/4HANA, standardizing business processes and enabling innovation across Engineering, Operations, Finance, Supply Chain, Human Resources, and Information Technology. The team partners closely with IT and external partners to adopt standard processes and maximize out‑of‑the‑box solutions. Position Summary The Supply Chain Management Data Lead (Systems Analyst, Principal) is responsible for leading the data workstream within the Supply Chain functional team of the Propel program. Execute Propel Program master data governance efforts for the Supply Chain workstream. Provide sign‑off on data conversion strategy, governance plan, data retention & archiving, reporting, data quality assessment, and data cleansing approach. Identify areas requiring data profiling and cleansing. Define data requirements for reporting and analytics. Engage key stakeholders to support data quality assessment, conversion, reporting, analytics, governance, and archiving. This role requires deep knowledge of core SAP SCM modules MM (Material Management) and EWM (Extended Warehouse Management), as well as extended procurement solutions Ariba, Fieldglass, and Icertis. Reporting Relationship The Data Lead reports directly to the Director, SCM Propel. Job Responsibilities Build and enforce standard naming conventions, global metadata rules, and validation logic across the enterprise. Run routine master data compliance audits to proactively address profile discrepancies or missing fields. Drive technical execution for data cleansing, profiling, and loading during migrations such as SAP ECC to S/4HANA. Validate functional relationships between foundational materials records and logistics execution modules. Translate technical data parameters into operational requirements during functional blueprinting workshops. Coach others on analytical techniques, data gathering techniques, and current system documentation. Discover, analyze, and document data issues for future conversion and integration efforts. Provide subject‑matter expertise on projects to implement and enhance enterprise Supply Chain business applications. Support development and sharing of internal best practices and standards to enhance delivery efficiency, quality, and repeatability. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor of Science in Management Information Systems, Data Analytics, Supply Chain, Computer Science or related field, or equivalent work experience. 10 years of related or equivalent experience. Desired Qualifications Advanced functional knowledge of SAP MM and EWM. Expertise governing master data domains such as Material Master, Vendor Data, Source Lists, and Bills of Materials (BOM). Experience linking operational tables to advanced modules like SAP IBP and Ariba with analytical platforms. Experience merging large language models (LLMs) and data analytics to develop business insights. MBA or equivalent graduate degree. Proven track record in cross‑functional project teams. Ability to present complex data and findings to internal and external stakeholders. Strong change management, communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills. Skill in managing multiple priorities and delivering results in a fast‑paced environment. Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills. Influence, negotiation, and persuasion skills to secure agreement on process improvement recommendations. Adaptability to changing business conditions and ambiguity.
